Gavin turned 4!

My Gavin turned 4. We started the day with a candle lit donut in Mommy and Daddy's bed....And yes! He is still wearing his Christmas jammies. Gavin wants to wear jammies every day, all day long....and his Christmas ones from this last year are his absolute faves! As you will see, he was only dressed until late afternoon and he will end his day once again in these jams.

Science Experiment kit from Grandpa and Makka! woohoo...
Fisher price truck from mom and dad! And a 4 year old squeeze for mommy!
This year Gavin was adiment that he only wanted a number 3 on his cake. He DIDN'T want to turn 4. So, we went to the store together to buy the #4 candle and I let him help make and decorate his cake. I thought this might help him warm up to the idea. Since his birthday he happily announces to everyone that he is 4.

A four year old squeeze for Daddy!
And, as you can see...back in the jammies for a snuggle with little brother!
And now time to eat our cake...."Happy Birthday to you....."
Finally happy to be 4!
Happy big brother is 4 too!

And a 4 year old snuggle with Auntie Rara~
Rara's cute homemade card!
Rara bought Gavin a book about "how things work" He has spent hours pouring over the pages. This is just how his brain works....like his dad. Loves to learn how things work.
My 4 year old. Gavin, you have brought us so much joy. We love you so much and are so proud that you are ours!

Easter Weekend

So far April has been very cold in comparison to our January and February! So here is two little men watching one of our rainy spring days. But we still managed to enjoy our Easter weekend. This year we did decided to do the neighborhood hunt. It was so fun and Keagan was much more into it than I expected. It was very serious business.

Here are my 3 guys trying to stay warm, waiting for Gavin's turn to hunt eggs.
And they are off.......
Lots of goodies in those eggs!
Easter morning with their little lambs. Thank you Lord for the Lamb that was slain so that we could know our creator and be called children of God.

Trying to get a brother pic in our Easter Sunday best....but I am just not good at catching them.
Little Cord brought his family over for Easter lunch. Sweet little boy - 18 weeks old.
Zachary Roberts on the hunt with the Boeger boys.

We really had a nice Easter - Auntie Rara was here, and our friends the Roberts. Church was packed out. It always makes my heart happy to see so many people coming to hear the message of hope. We also headed over to our friends, the Davidsons, for dessert that evening. 5 families with 2 kids each. It was a wild time and fun was had by all. I am thankful for the family and friends that God has give us!

Boys Camping Trip

While we were in Texas the daddies and the bigger boys went camping for a night. I think fun was had by all! It definately looks like they got to camp in a very pretty place.

Daddy and Gavin fishing....I heard that Gavin absolutely LOVED fishing...he stayed a half hour longer than everyone else.

Eating fire cooked hot dogs. Every little boy's dream.

The picnic table that was at their campsite had this carved in the table when they got there. I thought it was cute that Aaron took a picture.

Fun with Friends in Texas!!!!

We had such a wonderful time in Texas visiting friends. The Thorntons welcomed a crazy crew into their house - us and the Carpenter family. One night there were 13 of us sleeping under one roof. It was quite the party. Such a good time of catching up, shopping, camping, eating way too much sugar & just having fun being together!
The Thorntons' new little addition...Trigger....8 weeks old.
Friends...together again!
Yum Yum Waffles!!!
And the Carpenter Crew arrives!
Sweet baby Cason.....
Cason and Keagan...little buddies watching the "putty" outside.
Four funny faces!

A trip to Cabella's to see the "frozen" animals.

Then the 3 daddies braved a night camping with the 4 biggest boys. Great memory maker for our kiddos!

And the 3 mommies stayed with Emma and the babies - where we did lots of shopping! Along with some scotcheroos and cadburry treats to finish out the night! And here are the littlest of the bunch doing some silly bonding!
