Honestly, I feel like this was one of the fastest summers I have ever experienced. I don't know if it is because our weather was so un-summerlike, or the fact that we were in so much transition, or just because I am a mom now and watching Gavin grow up so quickly makes time feel like it flows through my fingers like water. Whatever the reason, all I know is that the cool weather has set in, the leaves are all sorts of colors and the days are shorter. I have to admit that I am actually enjoying my sweaters and finding myself looking forward to the holidays ahead. I look at the time that has passed since I blogged last and cannot believe what a horrible blogger I am. Hopefully I will be better this year, but............. probably not. But here is a picture of our little family on the only hike that we managed to do together this year. Hopefully there will be lots more next year.

OH!!! I'm so glad I finally came to your blog :) Hurray...this family picture is so sweet!!! I am soooo wanting to get up to see you!!! I MIGHT be able to this month, but if not, then I will be waiting til spring, cuz I don't want to drive in the snowy/rainy weather ;) Let me know if you come down this way...Now I'm going to browse the rest of your blog :) :)
